Social and Emotional Learning

The research is clear: social and emotional skills are necessary for both academic and personal success. As educators our goals are many, but certainly we hope to facilitate learning that leads to knowledgable Jews, who live Jewish values and make a difference in this world. In order to do so, we need to think intentionally about how we teach children and teens to relate to each other and to adults; how we teach empathy and caring; and how we teach responsibility and resilience. Just as importantly, we want our learners to be happy and to reach their fullest human potential. This can be done by incorporating social and emotional learning into every lesson we teach.

This 90 minute interactive workshop includes SEL tools and strategies that can be integrated into daily schedules and curricula.

Implementing & Navigating Change

Articulating and knowing what needs to change is the first step; implementing that change can be as challenging as it is rewarding- because change is hard!

During this workshop, you will identify goals and create an action plan that leads all stakeholders to understand what change will look like and what steps are needed to move change forward.  This includes addressing concerns of those affected by change and acknowledges that for many, change can be an emotional process.  You will be guided through the many moving parts and aspects of the change process so that meaningful and lasting change can happen.

Educator Mentorship

As directors and educators, we never stop trying to make our educational experiences all that they can be. Sometimes the best way to improve what we are doing is to get help from someone outside our organization, who has our interests at heart and who can provide a new and different perspective.  With a listening and caring ear and an emphasis on personal and professional growth, together we will develop goals and action steps to achieve them.
